It looks like Silvester with the common Polish -ak ending. This would mean belonging to, or related to, Silvester. In the original Polish it would be spelt with a W instead of a V.

It certainly looks like it contains the Latin root "sylvanus" meaning woodland ...the ending is probably just a diminutive ...
