Burke

William FitzAdelm de Burgo is in fact two different and unrelated people, William de Burgh and Wiliam FitzAdelm. J.H. Round in his book Feudal England (1909)proved the two were different, and there is further discussion of the confusion in Clarence Ellis's Hubert de Burgh (1952). The more recent Oxford Dictionary of National Biography entry for William de Burgh lists him simply as William de Burgh. William and his family were from Burgh-next-Aylsham in Norfolk hence the surname.
