Description: At the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, she was the winner of three women's swimming competitions, namely: 50 metres freestyle event, 100 metres freestyle event and the 100 metres butterfly event. At the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, she was the winner of the women's 50 metres freestyle event. She placed second (and thus won the silver medal) at the women's 100 metres freestyle event, also at the same Summer Olympics. In Athens, she also placed third (and thus won the bronze medal) at the women's 100 metres butterfly event.
