[Opinions] Welsh twins
I met a pair of twins with Welsh names today when I was picking my son up from school. They are the niece and nephew of a family friend whose children also go to the school. I was surprized by there Welsh names, Eirian and Emyr. They fitted the 3 year old twins perfectly. Eirian was pronounced like Erin. Emyr has red hair, green eyes, and lots of freckles which suited him. Eirian has beautiful strawberry-blonde wavy hair. The name Emyr is now growing on me. wdyt?

It's a pity the parents didn't bother to research the names before using them, since Eirian is pronounced IE-ree-ahn, not EH-rin. It's not like Erin at all.Emyr is cute, and I like Eirian when pronounced correctly.

I like both of those names, and even though I generally don't like similar sounding or even same-letter names for twins, these aren't bad. I wish you knew what their middle names were too because I would be interested in hearing them.

Eirian is all right, though I don't love it. Emyr is very nice, and I would love to see it on a little kid myself.

How is Emyr pronounced? If it's EM-eer, I'm adding it to my own PNL right now! And I lovelovelove Eirian!
