Help[Opinions] Two rare Welsh names
In this week's paper I spotted two Welsh names I've never come across before.
The first was in a death notice for a lady in her 80s - Morfydd Bronwen (it seems Morfydd is from Arthurian legend but I don't know what it means)
The other was a report about a teenage girl living in Wales - Tirion
Again, no idea what it means.
WDYTO these?

I like Bronwyn and Tirion.

I don't know what Morfydd means, but I do like it. It's very dark and menacing-- good character name. I've never heard Tirion either, and don't like the sound of it.

Morfydd was fairly well-used in the 19th century and early 20th, but isn't so common now. I quite like it, but have no idea what it means.
Tirion is more of a modern Welsh name - it's the Welsh word for gentle. It's quite nice too.
