I think Lula could be an adorable nickname for Louise, Laurel, Laura, Eloise or whatever when a girl is very young. I'd hate to introduce myself as a Lula in a professional environment. It's just so twee. I'm not against nicknames as full names, but Lula just makes me think of pink tutus.
