Today it was announced that 35 new names will enter to the Finnish name day calendar. The name had to be given to at least 500 Finnish citizens so that it could be accepted to the calendar. The new names are...Adele

Interesting to see that many names that have been used in Sweden for several centuries haven't been included in the Finnish calendar until now. Do the Swedish-speaking Finns use a separate name day calendar?
I like that many of the Finnish names sound so sweet and soft.

Yes, the Swedish-speaking Finns have their own name day calendar. I'm sure it includes such names as Andreas, Oskar and Viktor.
