Hmm, interesting question. I'm not of Italian descent, so I probably wouldn't use an Italian name. That said, I am Hispanic and love many Spanish names that are also used in Italian. In the US, I think it's more common to think of these names (including Luna, one example you mentioned), as Spanish rather than Italian.These are some of the Italian names used in the US where I would not necessarily expect the bearer to be of Italian descent: Dante, Gianna, Isabella, Matteo, Enzo, Gabriella, Arianna, Giovanni, Giuliana, Angelina, Gia, Angelo, Mario, Romeo, Santino, Francesca, Luca. I could see a few other names going in that direction over the next decade or so: Elia, Elio, Renzo, Chiara, Giulia, Alessia, Giada, Gioia, Antonella, Livia, Cosima, Vito, Aida, Raffaella.And here are some of the Italian names I like best. Not sure I would use any of these, but I'm quite fond of them all: Orlando, Ottavio, Ottavia, Vittorio, Vittoria, Falco, Saverio, Dante,
