[Opinions] Re: What are some modern, made-up English names that you actually approve of?
I’ve always had a soft spot for Brayden. Caden and Jaden aren’t half bad either. A few respellings I can see the appeal of: Malakai, Alijah, Sylas. On the girls side, I have no beef with Hailey, Harper, Paisley, Kayla, Kehlani, Alani, even Nevaeh at this point. I think as names “grow up,” and their bearers become complex people who far exceed any stereotypes or judgments based on novel naming trends, the names themselves gain character and depth that were initially harder to see.
