Nuard means 'bride (Nu) of Ardi (Ara)'.
The Sun God Ara or Ardi is identical with Dumuzi (Tammuz).
Nuard is an epithet of the ancient Goddesss Inanna.
In Greek myth this pair is known as Ares and Enio.
