It looks to me like these names are associated with the old Christian communities of Kerala, but you probably knew that already. I don't know how to refer to them - Malabar Christians, St. Thomas Christians?
I'm guessing that these are surnames from place-names, village of origin possibly. Certainly Pulickal is a Keralan place-name, and Kollam is too. Parimpil also appears to be locative.
