Subject: Pronounciation of two names
Author: CN   (Authenticated as CSwe)

I would be very grateful if someone could help me with the pronounciation of these two (Irish) surnames;

Maher - I pronounced it as Mah-er but know I wonder if that is correct. Should it be more like Mar/Mair?

Gill - is it pronounced with a soft or hard G?

Thank you!
