Ernest Marie Eugène Adolphe Moreau de Melen (1879-1968) was a Belgian football player who competed in the 1900 Olympic Games in Paris. He won a bronze medal as a member of Université de Bruxelles club team.
Jeanne Moreau (23 January 1928 – 31 July 2017) was a French actress, singer, screenwriter and director. She made her theatrical debut in 1947, and established herself as one of the leading actresses of the Comédie-Française. Most prolific during the 1960s, Moreau continued to appear in films into her 80s.
Marie-Madeleine Cécile Moreau (1 May 1928 – 10 June 1995) was a French diver. She competed in the 1948 Summer Olympics and won a silver medal for France at the 1952 Summer Olympics, making her the first, and as of 2018, only French medallist in diving.
Mathurin Moreau (18 November 1822 – 14 February 1912) was a French sculptor in the academic style. Moreau was born in Dijon, first exhibited in the 1848 Salon, and finally received a medal of honor from the Salon in 1897. He was made mayor of the 19th arrondissement of Paris, and in 1912 had a street named in his honor. His father was the sculptor Jean-Baptiste-Louis-Joseph Moreau and his siblings included sculptors Hippolyte and Auguste Moreau.
