I like Roberta. It's nice. I've heard of Birdie as nn, which could be cute, though I prefer it nnless~ Arcadia

I love Robert because it's my brother's name :-)I can't use Roberta because of Robert but I do like it, I think it's sweet but strong in a quiet sort of way.I also like Robyn, Robin and Robina.:-)

It's nms. I've never cared for Bert names. Plus every Roberta I've met has ended up being called Bobbie, Bert or Bertie none of which I like.

I had a teacher in high school with this name. I know a lot of females go by Bobbie.
I personally dont like it, dont fond of the teacher, or the name Robert or Roberta, or Bobbie/Bobby as a nn.

For some reason I don't like Roberta that much, event though I have a soft spot for Alberta (w/ the nn Ali), which I consider to be very similar. I tend to like a lot of male names feminised, like Charlotte, Georgina, etc. but Roberta just looks like Robert with an "a" slapped on the back (not very thoughtful)... sorry.

Roberta is one of the few feminized versions of common male names I don't like. I think Georgia, Louisa and Willa are all great, but Roberta strikes me as a bit frumpy.
