My maiden name is Harmer. We never hear very much of them and I would be really interested to find out about it. I am English, but my Dad thinks it is French, although there are no French relatives in memory, but strangely my family all look quite alike and i often have people tell me i look French( whatever that might be!) so it does not seem unbelievable. Any info would be great. thanks
