I don't care for Sunny. It could work as a nickname for Sonja, perhaps spelled as Sonny, but I don't think nicknames should revolve around formal names. But, I don't care for Sunny / Sonny or Sonja.
I don't care for Klaus. I think of Santa Claus / Klaus, a clause in a contract, and cold slaw (for some reason).
Violet is OK. I used to like it, but it's not my style anymore.

I've heard it pronounce as CLAWS (like the claws of a bear), never as KLOWS, and I doubt many people pronounce it as you do (watch a ton of people prove me wrong now).
Another reason why I wouldn't use the name. Too much pronunciation confusion.

The US. Perhaps it is, unless you're from the US, too. But, then it could be a city/southern type dialect difference. Or, it could just be a plain ol' difference.
