Gabriel Ramon Age 6
Gabe enjoys being "big brother", and spends a lot of time with his sister Stela, 4. His broter Carlos, 3, is wheelchair bound, and his wheels kind of scare Gabe. But Gabe is very polite and tries not to let it show. He has a fairly good grasp on the English language, but he goes to kindergarden in a Latino area of a nearby city. Next year we plan to move him to school closer to home. (It's a thirty-minute drive one way!)
He gets along marvellously with his sisters (Stela and Eulalia, 4 and 1) and brothers (Carlos, 3, and AJ, 2), and loves America. His favorite food is KFC. He is learning to read, but doesn't have the patience for it yet. We have several books in both English and Portuguese or Spanish so he can ease into the language.
