I think it's really cute! It's pretty looking and sounding, the pronunciation isn't too convoluted, and it sounds near enough to Hilary that people won't be all "Whoa--where'd you get that?"
For a boy, my favourite form is Hilaire, like Hilaire Belloc.

it can also be spelled Ylaria or Ylaire (feminine of Hilaire).
