My name is also Tinae. But is pronounced Ti-nigh or tonight without the T at the end. The name is a latin form of the word "August" or is feminine for "Augustus". I'm not sure if it's true or not. My professor had a book with some old names and mine happened to be in there. Hopefully this helps you out. I don't really know what my name means. All I know is that I was named after my great-grandmother. Let me know if you find anything.
