Your name of "Christine" is commonly interpreted to mean "Christian"; "a follower of Christ".
But the word "Christ" literally means "annointed with oil", which was a means begun in ancient times of consecrating (declaring to the service of a deity) something or someone.
So, "Christine" can be a pagan name, too! Don't forget to tell your teacher that. :)
