I've now found that Jellicoe is a variant of Gellicoe, and relates to Gelli, Tuscany. But then what does Gelli Mean????

I promise you, Jellicoe isn't French.
Anyway, it it's related to a city in Tuscany, it's Italian, not French, obviously...

"coe" means wood (such as in Roscoe or Briscoe). Don't know about Jelli though. There are a few "Jel" names that come from Helen, but that's not making sense to me. Sorry.-Seda*
