[Opinions] Stella and Reuben
WDYT of these names together?
Can you suggest any middle names? At the moment I like Reuben Jude but have not come up with anything for Stella...as yet ;)
Thanks!

I love Stella but I hate Reuben it reminds me of the sandwich (cornbeef, thousand island dressing) I cannot stand the sandwich, seriously if I even smell it i instantly feel like upchucking (sorry you didn't need that visual) so I would never use it. ~ Kai

I like Stella, but not Reuben (I think of the sandwich, rueben, and I don't find it masculine). I like Jude, only as a middle name, as you're using it, but I don't think the combo flows, because of the u sounds of both names. I suggest Stella Brianne and Reuben Matthew.Edit: Spelling.

I'm not a huge fan of either name. I think of Reuben as a last name only, and Stella just makes me think of a wiry old woman with big hair for some reason. Plus, as others have mentioned, there's a beer called Stella Artois, which is also nicknamed "Stella". I think they sound alright together though, as a pair.Sarena x

I love Stella. It's not like the name is taken from the beer. The name long pre-dated the beer. It's a great name shared by a lot of interesting people. And since I find the beer kind of trendy-hip right now and don't think it'll be the next Heineken here, I don't think its a big deal.I like:Stella Claire
Stella Maris - if you want to go Star of the Sea
Reuben doesn't thrill me, but I like the combo of Reuben Jude.

I love Reuben, though I think I prefer the spelling Ruben, depending on the combo. I used to like Stella but have gone off it now - it reminds me very much of the beer, and it's just lost its charm for me.I don't much like Reuben Jude, because the "oo" sounds gets repetitive imo.Reuben Ashley
Ruben Finley
Ruben Seamus / Seamas / Shamus
Reuben Marcus
Reuben Lorne
Ruben Henry
