First i was just curious where you got the name? And if you are sure that is the pronounciation of it.
You can pronounce it with the hard 'k' sound, its still pretty, im just thinking it might not be the original sound of the name.
At first glance it looks a new spelling of Alison.
If you look at it like it was pronounced 'Ahl-eis-ein' where the 'ysc' makes the middle sound, and the 'enne' the final sound.
I am also curious how you prnounce the name, do you pronounce it like 'Ahl-eis-ah-kuh-nee', or did you not mean to have that 'k' there and it is pronounced 'Ahl-eis-ah-nee'.
If you do pronounce the 'Alysce' (here i especially not the respemblance to the name Alice) part of the name like 'Ahl-eis-ah' I am curious as to where you go the final syllabel of 'ah' besides you seeing the resemblance to the name Alyssa.
Most likely the 'e' following the 'c' does not make the sound of the letter a.
I still believe this is a varition on spelling the name Alison, and you have just made a variation on the pronounciation.
Is your daughter already born yet? just curious
It would be great to hear back for the questions~Silver
