I love it, and far prefer it to Tristan for a girl. However, I would only spell it Tristina, as Trystina fairly obviously contains "tryst", a vocabulary word I wouldn't care for my child's to remind me of.

I really like it :-)As a feminine form of Trystan, it works far better than Tristana imo. However, I also like just Tristan or Trystan on a female._____________________________________________________________________"You are never given a wish without also being given the power to make it true."Elinor

I don't care for it; it seems artificial to me - a large alteration of Kristina, rather than a feminine of Tristan. I like Tristan, though, and Kristina ... and Tristana would be very nice, I think.

interesting but not my style.

Trystina, to me, looks like a made-up name that is supposed to be either a feminine form of Tristan or a cross between Trista and Christina. But the word "tryst" basically means: a secret rendezvous between lovers. To me, it would be like giving your child a name that means "extramarital affair" or something.

It's really cute and fun. Very girlie. I picture a blue-eyed girl with blonde pigtails. Very Emma Bunton (Baby Spice of the Spice Girls).
