It sounds like tamarind, which if you do not know already, is a fruit native to Africa. It is used in a number of different ethnic cuisines. Maybe your name is a version of this word, or from some common root word. It could also be a play on Tamsin, or a combination of Tammy and Erin.Also, if you google you name on the second page, you will see a little monkey called the Golden Lion Tamerin!
