Hey all!
My late grandfather's last name was Pustjens, which is a Dutch surname (ofcourse, since I'm from Holland). But while digging further and further in my family tree, the surname was also written as Pustgens, and probably it came from the French surname Pustiens.
I've been searching for the meaning and origin of Pustiens (also of the surnames Pustjens and Pustgens), but I always failed to find it. Now you folks are my last hope. Maybe you are able to tell me what Pustiens means, or what its origins are? I'd be very grateful.
Thank you very much in advance,
Lucille
