[Opinions] Another celebrity baby name blunder.
I'm gagging!
Actor Rob Morrow (Numb3rs) was a guest on Ellen today, and he talked about his daughter, whose name is:
Tu Simone Ayer Morrow.
Tu Morrow (yes, tomorrow).
Oh, the poor girl!

Hee.
Alright, alright. I agree that the name is rather awful. But I'll admit that I have a serious soft spot for Rob Morrow (in fact, I have a bit of a crush on him). I know it's kind of bad that I'm making allowances for an actor, but to be honest... as much as I shake my head at his naming choices, it makes me like Mr. Morrow even more.
That, and I guess the name plays into his wife's side of the family (who I hear all have rather punny names). That doesn't make me like it, but I guess it makes some sense. And on the other hand, I love Simone.

I have watched that show a few times, and LOVE it...
but now I don't have a TV, so no good. (I do have one, but unless we have cable, we have no reception.)

"ayer" means yesterday in Spanish...
So she's tomorrow - yesterday LOL
So she's tomorrow - yesterday LOL
i suppose since they are celebrities they feel they can push the envelope with naming their children. any other child with that name would prolly be so teased in school it wouldnt be funny. i'd like to know why celebrities name thier children odd names like apple, coco, rumor, and such.
Precisely for this - attention.

Yes, but isn't his wife's name Debban Ayer? He thought it was cute (ack!) and wanted to continue the trend. At least she has a few names from which to choose! Maybe she'll go by Simone...
Edited to correct wife's name.

I continued to gag when I heard that...
I just rolled my eyes upon hearing the wife's name! At least she can use Deb or Debbie, but Tu can't do anything with her name. At least she use Simone.
He said that she can't stand the Annie song "Tomorrow." ;)
