[Opinions] Ardean
I saw the name Ardean today. I'm not sure if it's pronounced ar-deen or AR-dee-un. If it's AR-dee-un, I prefer the spelling Ardian. What do you think of it? It's not something I would use, but I think it's interesting. Also, what do you think of Arden, Ardith, and Ardis?

I don't care for Ardean. (I would pronounce it "ar-DEEN.")I do like Arden. It reminds me of the forest of Arden in As You Like It. I'm a snob, so anything connected to Shakespeare gets a yes vote from me. At least the child would have a credible explanation when asked, "Where does your name come from?"

Ardean is kind of interesting, although it's nms because I can't immediately place it in a 'girl' or 'boy' category.Arden is nice for a boy, and Ardith is nice for a girl. Ardis is ok, but I immediately think "tardis" which makes it nms!
