OT: A couple of questionsI found somewhere that Perez or Peretz means "Burst Forth", "Breach" or "Divided" in Hebrew, and that Ella is Hebrew for "Goddess". Are either of those accurate?

I adore old fashioned/nostalgic names so this list was fun to look through. Thanks. I did have to giggle at a few of them, though. Fredonia? Wasn't that the name of a fictional country in Duck Soup (Marx Brothers)? Leafy? LOL. As a nn for Relief? Relief? "After 24 hours of crippling labor, mother decided to call me Relief." LOL. I couldn't ever look into a man's eyes and say, "I love you, Dobbin." I'd crack up mid-sentence. Thanks. That was a hoot.
