[Opinions] Parisa
What do you think? Is it pronounced Pair-RISS-ah or Pair-REES-ah? I love the meaning - fairy like.

I know a girl named Parisa, and she pronounces it PAR-iss-ah, but everyone always says it Puh-REESS-uh
I think Parisa is a lovely name.
It does have a pretty meaning, and I like the sound- it could grow on me provided the name Paris wasn't so trendy. I automatically think Paris Hilton (gag) instead of the origins of Parisa.
I like it

Parisa's not made up
Parisa's a legitimate name: according to BtN itself, it means "like a fairy" in Persian and is used in Iran. (Though personally I haven't a clue why it's relatively unheard-of here in NA, given the apparent trendiness of Paris for a girl.)
