Indeed, "tessara" is four in classical Greek ("tessera" in mondern contemporary Greek). However I have found no evidence that there is amn etymological connection, and feel it is quite unlikely.
I have found no evidence of Tessa as classical Greek name - although Taessa is recorded as a Greek name.
