ÆÐELÞRYÐ - How do u prn it? The name Audrey comes from itand the Irish form of Sarah, which I beleive is Mor-how do u prn that?Thank you very much

The ae together says a as in as, and, at - the short a sound.The d with its stem crossed is the voiced th, as in those (not the voiceless one as in thistle).As for your Sarah, the Scottish translation of Sarah is Morag, which is said to mean Princess but is more like Great Lady, the mor- being: great. Perhaps that helps?

The first name is ethelthrith. Mor is pronounced like the word more. But the Irish equiv's of Sarah are usually Sorcha (sore-cha), Saraid (sar-itch) and Sadhbh (sive).
