Okay, perhaps this is what you may be looking for. (But please bear in mind what I wrote about so-called "family shields" in my earlier posting.)
This comes from a book titled: *What's in a Name: Surnames of America* by LaReina Rule (author of *Name Your Baby*) and William K. Hammond.
According to this book, the heraldic shield for the Ross Family consists of the following:
"Red background, three rampant silver lions."
