Ohhhh, I absolutely love them both. I say Sofia, though, for a couple of reasons:
1. I like heritage
2. It's tied for my top favorite name
3. I LOVE this spelling!
4. It's much less trendy

I am hearing of Sophia/Sofia/Sophie so much lately, I like it but it is rivaling Olivia for being overdone. That said, I adore Olivia and would choose it over Sophia any day.

Both are too popular for me, but I have a soft spot for Olivia. :b I just don't care for the sound of Sofia (or Sophia) but I do really like Sophie...go figure.

Olivia is nice, but I love Sofia. I prefer it spelled Sophia, but Sofia is still beautiful and it's really nice that it honors your heritage.

Sofia - even though I do like Sophia better. Either spelling is better than the name Olivia, which I cannot see the appeal in.

Sofia. Olivia is too trendy right now, I think. There'll probably be five in her class when she's older. And Sofia sounds so much nicer, imo.

Both beautiful names, but Sofia is the winner. “There is no question that there is an unseen world. The question is how far is it from midtown and how late is it open?” – Woody Allen

Sofia looks so much nicer than Olivia! Of course, I'm majorly biased, because Sofia was my Spanish name back in seventh grade, but I think it's fantastic (even if it's so popular).Sofi looks like such a cute nickname. Or Fia. Or Sofa. ;)Array

Sofia gets my vote. I find it prettier sounding, and more unusual (at least where I live) than Olivia :-)_____________________________________________________________________"There are few more distressing sights than that

I prefer Sofia. It's a beautiful name, and it looks and sounds nicer than Olivia. Also, it's got a lovely meaning.

I love both but today I'm going to go with Olivia.

I really like Sofia spelled this way. Olivia is too popular and nms.
Sofia Leah and Sofia Lilianne (also Lily-Anne, Lilliana, and Lily-Anna) are my favorite combinations. "Dance like no one's watching."

Lol, well it's the lesser of two evils for me, as I have two cousins named Olivia & Sophia and they're sisters!I prefer Olivia to Sophia, but Sofia to Olivia, so I guess my answer is Sofia.GeorgiaPhoebe: Put your face in the hole, ja.
Rachel: Wow, a Swedish massage from a real Swedish person.
Phoebe: Then I am Svedish, ja.
Rachel: So what’s your name?
Phoebe: It’s a normal Svedish name…Ikea.

I love Sofia - and I prefer the spelling "Sofia" to "Sophia" also. I like the name Sofia because of Sophia Lee in Tomb Raider III (I am very easily swayed by computer games!). Olivia is NMS.
