[Opinions] Help me find name for this nickname, pls
I'm looking for names where Lolly can be used as the nickname. Any ideas?
I've already thought of Laura, Laurel, Charlotte

I like Laurel. I also think it'd work for Loretta, Lilianne, Liliana or Louisa, which are all gorgeous imo :-)

Lollipop.
Joking, joking...
Lolly is adorable and you could use it as a nickname for any name containing an L. Honestly. I was thinking, Lola sounds right, and then I remembered that Lola is a nickname for Dolores. If you can get Lolly out of Dolores, well, anything goes, I say. Names with a "LAH" sound would be even better, like Lara ("LAH-ruh," not "LER-uh") and Alana ("uh-LAWN-uh").

I'm against the formal name decision revolving around a nickname. The nickname may never be put to use, if the child does not want the nickname, and you may have just settled on a formal name. I also don't think nicknames should be planned by the parent(s), but should be left up to the child. I would just scrap the whole thing, personally.
Anyway, Lolly seems more like a pet name than a nickname to me.

Um, that was a bit rude
I don't believe I asked your opinion of the nickname. If I have a girl, she will be nicknamed Lolly after someone very special in our lives who recently died. I was looking for help.
On Neighbours here in australia there was a little girl called Louise (im pretty sure) and they called her lolly as a nick names, so i guess Louise or Louisa or to the extent Eloise could be shortened to
I think it'd be a great nn for Charlotte. Some more:
Lorelei
Dolores
Lorraine
Louise, Louisa
Mary- If you can get Molly and Polly from it, Lolly isn't much of a stretch.
Lieselotte, Liselotte, Liselot
Elizabeth, Elisabeth- Again, with Lily / Lili and Lilo as nns, Lolly isn't a big stretch.
