One approach would be to use a translation of Rocky is some other language, eg:
Rocoso (Spanish)
Rocheux (French)
Felsig (German)
Roccioso (Italian)
Rochoso (Portugese)
Roko (Esperanto)
Petrodes (Greek)
I also anagrammed "Rocky Raccoon" -- a Beatles song from the White Album -- which yielded "Cranky Rococo". Depending on Rocky's character, this may be suitable.
