I'm liking Josephe because it's a little different but I love Jocelyn. Either way you can get the nn Joe or Joey.

I dont see how you get jo out of Jocelyn.

I prefer Jocelyn Elizabeth James although I think the nn Joey makes more sense with Josephe than Jocelyn since I never hear the first syllable of Jocelyn pronounced like Joe. If it weren't for the combo as a whole I'd pick Josephe.

I agree, Joey makes an adorable nn for a girl. Would you consider using it on its own? Out of your combos I think Jocelyn Elisabeth James has the nicest flow. Personally I think Jocelyn is a bit 80's sounding & I would struggle to pronounce Josephe. Here are my suggestions, but they are a bit of a stretch for the nn Joey.

Well ... I always advise against choosing a full name around the favoured nickname. Plenty of kids will insist on their full name when they're old enough. (I downright refused to answer to Nell, which my mother wanted to call me.)

That aside, I like both Jocelyn and Josephe. I'd pronounce the later joe-SEFF. Josephe is probably more suited to the nickname Joey, since it actually has the 'joe' sound in it and Jocelyn doesn't. (For Jocelyn, I much prefer Joss.) I also like Josepha, which I say 'joe-SEFF-ah'.
