[Opinions] Re: Evan, Jonathan, Ian, and Emmaline
I find John somewhat dull, but it actually seems less overused that Jonathan to me. I actually like Ian, but it, along with Evan and Jonathan, seems less classic and long-standing than John to me. (Same with Sean/Shawn, another variant of John) I don't mind Jack but it's become WAY too popular lately. :-/ If I had to pick out of all of these, I'd go with John or Ian. Whichever one you go with, I'd probably pick a more unusual, less common mn to balance out the combo. I'm not a fan of Emmaline (I prefer the Emmeline spelling for some reason...but I'm not a fan of the name in general, actually). But I'd rather see Emmaline than yet another Emma or Emily, for sure. ETA: This site lists Emmaline's pronunciation as EM-uh-leen, but I automatically think EM-uh-lyne, which I prefer a little more. But I don't personally know anyone with the name, either way.
