A lot of places have Vega listed as a first name do you think it could work as a first name, because to me it’s all surname.

I've never heard it as a surname, but it reminds me entirely of astronomy. I think it's fine as a first name, though I wouldn't use it.

I think it's definitely a surname. It's not particularly pretty as a first name anyway. :(
