#1. I love this name. It's on my favorites' list.
#2. I don't think it's ridiculous to use it. Most of the people I know wouldn't recognize the origin of the name anyway.
#3. I pronounce the name ih-SOLD-uh. I suspect ih-SOLD is more correct, though.
