[Opinions] Zikirya
What do you think of the name Zikirya (zee-keer-ya) - i thought it sounded gorgeous, it's from zikr - remembrance, and yah - god - remembering god. But i'm not sure if it would be properly used as a male or female name...
I was bothering my sister to add some kind of extra bit to my nieces name (Zi) and i found this one (i won't convince her of course).
Do you like, or not?

So essentially it means the same thing as Zechariah. I'd need to know more about it to form a solid opinion of it.

I don't like it. When I first saw it I accidently said Shakira to myself.
It depends on how well it flows with the last name. I do agree with you though; Zikirya is a good name.
I don't find it particularly appealing; honestly, if I were to choose between Zi and Zikirya, I'd pick Zi. Zia would appeal to me more, but this is too fanciful.
Of course, if you want to bug her about changing her daughter's name, it doesn't really matter what name you offer up--your advice is still going to be unasked-for and (IMO) rather inappropriate.
