[Opinions] Pronounciations
Chemarine? is It a k sound or Sh sound?
Zillah-is it pronounced Zye-lah, or Zill-ah as in Godzilla?
Tzadik-do you pronounce the t or is Zadok a better spelling, or not? Question: what is your name and does it have a special meaning behind it? My real name is Catherine and I was named after Catherine Bach(She played Daisy in Dukes of hazzards)
sorry to those i offended earlier, I been a little stressed out lately. I don't mean to take it out on you.just realize that its not personal.it's a flaw of mine.

I'd say Chemarin with a SH sound.
I'd say Zillah just like in Godzilla.
I'd try to pronounce the T in Tzadik. Zadik would be better if you want it pronounced without the T, in my opinion. Zadok looks weird to me, like a sci-fi name for an alien. My real name has no special meaning. My mom "just liked it."

My name is Kathryn, spelled like that, so the meaning, I suppose, is the same as yours.
I was named for an aunt, my Father's closest and favourite of his innumerable sisters.

The only one I know is Zillah, which is ZILL-ah, like the end of Godzilla. My name is Julia because my parents loved it.

I think it's probably sh, though it's a name I never ever heard before so I can't swear to it. Zillah would probably be like Godzilla. Don't know about Tzadik. My real name is Starla Roxanne. My mother just liked the sound of the name Starla, she says she knows she heard it somewhere but can't remember exactly where. The Roxanne is after the Police song of the same name, about the guy falling in love with a prostitute and trying to make a lady out of her. How embarrassing. lol Even more embarrassing than being named after Daisy Duke.

Well, if you're embarrassed by the Police song you could change the story and say she was inspired by Cyrano de Bergerac, it's terribly romantic...

I found Chemarin on this site, not sure how accurate it is
http://babynamescountry.com/girl-names/C19.html, it said it was Hebrew, but my name book says it is french.
yep I heard the Police song before, the other name my mom consider was Daisy Mae or Bonnie Jean, Blah...
thanks for the reply.

Marjolijn: my mum liked it, and the Marjo-part coincidides with MARia JOhanna
Maria: My godfather's middle name, and my mum's middle name
Johanna: After my grandmother
Catharina: My godmother's middle name and the name of my other grandmother (whom I never met)

I'd say,
Keh-mar-een or Keh-mar-inZill-ah like GodzillaZad-ik - I'd only say Zad-ok if it was spelled Tzadok. My fn is not Justina.
My real mn is after my mother.
My real fn is just a name that my mother liked.
