Our family has been surprised with triple the blessing as we welcomed two boys and one girl into our lives on November 30! Nathan Luis came into the world first at 7:46 AM, weighing 5 pounds, 4 ounces; 18 3/4 inches long. He was joined by his sister, Alexandra Madelyn Michelle, at 7:48 AM, weighing 4 pounds, 12 ounces; 18 inches long. And finally, Kyle Thomas was born at 7:49 AM, weighing 5 pounds, 1 ounce; 18 1/2 inches long. All three have names that we loved, and all three have middle names that honor someone special. Nathan's middle name, Luis, is for my grandfather, while Kyle's middle name, Thomas, is for David's grandfather. We wanted to continue the theme of two middle names for our girls, so Alexandra's second middle name, Michelle, is for David's sister and a very close family friend. The kids absolutely adore their little brothers and sisters. Nicholas is now nine years old and in the fourth grade; he adores David, loves to do everything with him, and is a wonderful student (not to mention the fact that he's a phenomenal big brother). Jonathan and Samuel are seven and in the second grade; they love to do everything together, which quite often includes playing baseball. Natalie, now four years old, just started preschool this year; she's such a mommy's girl, so the separation anxiety was huge in the beginning, but now she loves going to school and has made a lot of friends. And my darling little angel Elizabeth is three and still at home with mommy and the triplets; she is my little shadow, loving to do everything I do, especially helping to take care of the babies. And now there are three more to raise, but we definitely consider the surprise a blessing. Our three little miracles are absolutely perfect, and there is no doubt that life without them would not be the same. Welcome to the world Nathan, Alexandra, and Kyle!
