Message: "Dannielynn" - Behind the Name

I guess I'm looking for opinions...on how to pronounce it. I thought it was pronounced like "Danny Lynn," but just realized it's likely "Daniel Inn" or perhaps "Danielle Inn".

So how do you pronounce it? And has anyone heard ANS or her people actually say the name?

Hmm... that's very strange. I might have said Danni Lynn like Anna Nicole's baby, but that's just weird. Who names their kid that? Danielle Lynn would be much better.

I say Danny-lynn.

I've also noticed it gets spelt different ways (at least by the British celeb magazines). I've seen Danielyn, Dannielyn, Dannilyn, Danilyn, Danielynn, Dannilynn and Danilynn.

Poor kid.

I've heard Howard K Stern and Larry Birkhead say Danny Lynn. There is a reporter on mSNBC that's saying dan-yel-in.

Did you see Birkhead taking her home today? Poor guy, I hope the little one doesn't scream the whole way home. He just looked tickled to death with her.

I'm not a fan of it as well, but...

because it honors both her recently deceased brother and mother, I honestly have no problem with it. It could be a lot worse, imo. I think the poor baby has been through quite a lot in her little life, the last thing she needs now is a name change.

Well, technically she wasnt named after her brother. He died after she was named Dannielynn. But I can see what you mean. Her mother only really lived long enough to name her.

Actually, her original name was Hannah, but after Daniels death a few days after her birth her name was changed to Dannielynn (or however it's spelled) to honor the brother she'd never know.

Yes ...

... she was a Hannah before Daniel died, so she was named after him and Lynn is Anna Nicole's original middle name (She was a Vickie Lynn before she was Anna Nicole). Hope is her middle name.

I assumed Danny Lynn as well. I've heard talking head types on TV prn it that way, but I haven't heard anyone directly associated with the family say it, so I don't know.

I strongly dislike it, so Danny Lynn isn't so great, but I do hope it's correct. Danielle Inn sounds a lot worse to me.
