Adel is doing great. He was so adorable. He has brought a lot of happiness to our family, and his older siblings love him.

Kiran and Manu are also doing good. they share a room with Adel, and they all seem to like eachother pretty well.

We expected Adrian to have a difficult time adapting, but he is actually doing pretty well. At first he refused to do anything but look out the window-- like we expected, but then, slowly he started to speak to us. The first thing he asked was if he could listen to some music, so we supplied him with a stack of CDs. Though he is still rather closed to us, it is a start and we think he will open up more in time.

Demetria and Winter are doing awesome! They seem to forget about their past more and more everyday. They have made many friends and are very happy in thier new school. Demetria is entering some of her paintings in the local art show, and Winter is writing a story to send into a magazine.

Janneke is so sweet! She is speaking a little English now, and has made so many friends! We did have a hard time giving her baths for a while, but she is better now. Who knows? We may even get her to get in the water at the beach this summer!

Sander and Juliana are also doing well. Sander is at the top of his class in school, and has joined the local little league. Juliana, although mute has made many friends.

David is great! He has joined the local bowling league, the track team and has become and average A student. Sometimes he volunteers at the animal shelter, other times he just plays around with the neighborhood animals.
