Elliott, with no nn. There's something about Dominic that I can't put my finger on that makes me dislike it. Elliott is masculine and gentle at the same time. I really love it.

Honestly, I like both Elliott and Dominic. However, I prefer Elliot to Elliott. I prefer the sound of Elliott these days, but the fact it's a surname is a bit off-putting. I'd go with Dominic.

I admit, I like them both pretty equally, and that's to say, quite a lot. They're both boy's names I could see using, and I'm pretty picky about boys. I think, though, that I would go with Elliot simply because I prefer El to Dom or Nic as far as a shortened form goes.

Tough one...Those are two of my favourite boys' names! I'd probably have to go with Dominic though, also I prefer the spelling Elliot to Elliott.

Dominic but...(m)I love both names but if I had to choose I think I would choose Dominic though. Either way the names are great :)

I much prefer Elliott, though I prefer the spelling Elliot. Just don't like Dominic. Elliott is quirky, Dominic is bland, imo.

Definitely Elliott, and I like the double T ending, too (just fyi :b). Dominic is nice but seems to be getting a bit trendy lately. Elliott seems more quirky-classic, if that makes any sense. LOL.

Definitely Dominic. It seems like such a stronger, more masculine name. Elliott has never appealed to me, and a part of that is because of the "Elli", though I don't like it for a girl, either. I just think Dominic has a better sound.

Both are NMS, but I lean toward Elliot, especially if you use the NN
"Eli".:)Danielle

Dominic has far better 'staying power' than Elliott; the fashion for surnames as first names will fade away but Dominic has always been a classic. When it comes to Elliott itself, I like Elliot or Eliot much better.

I like Dominic best, no special reason. Also as a girls' name, Dominique.
