I've always loved the name, and especially this spelling. It just seems much classier to me. However, recent comments have made me begin to doubt myself. I'm afraid that the most Americans are unfamiliar with this spelling, and would see it as a trendy alternative to the spelling of Eleanor. What do you guys think?
It's not too high on my list, so it's not much of a problem. However, I do adore the nicknames Nell and Nelly, so it might get higher.
