Where is this from?I like the sound (ROZ-wehn?), but that H strikes me as unnecessary.

It's a Welsh name that's only been in use since the last century. A modern name, I suppose you could say, equivalent to Saoirse or Aislinn in Ireland in terms of usage and modernity.Rhoswen means 'fair, white or blessed rose'. Rhos- coming from the Welsh word for rose: rhosyn.It's pronounced 'hross-wen'.

Agreed.The sound is nice, assuming that it's prn. ROZ-wehn, but the spelling is misleading. To me, at least.[ETA: I love your sig, MariaNikolaievnaRomanova. :)]
