and if your great-grandma's name was Marguerite I think it would be nice to use that to honour her, as well as get to use Maggie :)

Thanks for the suggestions and opinions! I really like Margot and Magdalena =]
And I really do like Marguerite, but it has been used a lot throughout my large family as a middle name and once as a first name, she goes by Rita though...

That would be great then. You could have a Marguerite, to honor your gm, but still get to call her Maggie. And she wouldn't get confused with other family members. :b
