[Opinions] Anthanie
Saw this on a little girl this weekend. Father's name was Anthony nn Tony. Her full name is Anthanie Nicole (her mother's mn is Nicole) and they call her Annie. I'm not big on it, WDYT?

I think Anthea or something like that or maybe Antonia would have been better.

Awful. When it sounds like Anthony, it shouldn't be "femalized" by simply spelling it differently. Crap.

I don't like it...My name is Toni. A name I hated when I was little, but it has grown on me and people seem to like it. I was named after my father's middle name... Anthony, as well.

But...Antonia is so elegant and beautiful and wonderful. Why Anthanie? WHY?
Nicole is boring and I don't care if it's her mom's MN, it's still filler. Nicolette is better and Antonia Nicolette is way classier.

Perfect!Well, I was looking for a way to honour my dad, Colin Antony. Delphine Anthanie it is. Or maybe Anthanie as a first name? Xanthe and Anthanie. What a great idea!Just kidding :P That is terrible.

I don't like it...Antonia and Antoinette are much prettier. Or even Antonie.

Why not Antonia? Why on earth give an innocent little girl a kre8tyvely spelled masculine name? Argh! At least Annie is a cute nn, and Anne could work when she's older.

Oh no. Anthony is strictly male [IMO].... and that spelling - eek!I would've much rather they chose Antonia, Antonella, etc.. or even something like Tonya!
